A key part of the ‘Vision for Fulham Reach' created at the Fulham Reach Community Planning Weekend was a new riverside promenade that could be enjoyed by everyone. Eighteen months later the opening of the new promenade was celebrated by Mayor Stainton and children from Melcombe Primary School at the Fulham Reach ‘Ground Breaking' ceremony.
Fulham Reach, located close to Hammersmith's transport hub and retail centre, will be a high quality mixed-use scheme, designed to create a vibrant, active and sustainable environment for residents, visitors and the local community. The local community, including children from Melcombe Primary School, participated in the development of the proposals through a community planning process facilitated by JTP.
